This recipe calls for a quick sautee of the beans in olive oil, salt, black pepper. You can add shallots, garlic as well,but not required.. Once the beans are starting to soften up, you can add a little water, lemon juice and in this recipe, I added cumin, turmeric and a tablespoon of whole grain mustard. Cayenne pepper or another chile would work well too. Allow that to steam a little bit then when the beans are soft you can top with some yogurt.
